Seminar Rooms
There are 2 rooms of seminars at the hotel, the York and MacKenzie Rooms. Seminars
hold 50 people each and they are 50-minutes in length. MacKenzie Seminars are scheduled on the hour (9:00, 10:00 etc) and York Seminars are scheduled on the half hour (9:30, 10:30 etc) Because the space is limited, you need to sign up for your favourite speaker as soon as possible.
Seminars
We have a really exciting list of presenters who are speaking on topics of research,
techniques, marketing /business, self defence, depression and even Marijuana!! There is truly something for everyone. You need to sign up for seminars ahead of time. Some are $10 and some are free. Once you have singed up, you can always log back into your account and print off the seminar information for CEUs if they qualify. If there are open spaces on the day of the seminar, you can purchase them at registration. Sign up at www.massagetherapyexpo.ca
Trade Show
The Trade Show is open from 10:00 to 4:00 each day. We have wonderful exhibitors who
specialize in Massage related Products, Services and Educational Experiences. Everyone is there to support your professional needs. This year we want to support you as people not just therapists with vendors from Norwex and Pampered Chef on site too!!
Demonstrations
In a room adjacent to the trade Show Hall, many of your favourite seminar presenters will
also be doing demonstrations. The 50-minute Demonstrations begin at 10:30 each day and you do not have to sign up for them ahead of time. A list of the demonstrations is available on the Expo website at www.massagetherapyexpo.ca
Hotel Information
The Hilton Garden Inn is located at 3201 Hwy 7, Vaughan, ON L4K 5Z7 Parking for the
event is FREE. There are many attractions in the area including Vaughan Mills Mall, Cineplex and IKEA. Lunch is NOT available at the hotel but there are endless possibilities in the vicinity. The hotel does charge a fee for parking but there is a large open lot across the street that does not.
