AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Born on February 25, 1987, in Zounkpa, Porto-Novo.
At the age of five, he began primary school at the Zounkpa EPP (Educational Public School) and obtained his CEP (Primary and Vocational Training Certificate) diploma in 1999. He was then admitted to the Béhanzin High School in Porto-Novo, where he continued his secondary education, obtaining his BEPC (Preparatory Certificate of Professional Studies) diploma in 2004 and his Baccalaureate in Series C (High School C) in 2008.
After two years of university training in Physics and Chemistry, I received a scholarship to train in agricultural machinery (drawing, design, and manufacturing of agricultural machinery) in the workshop section at the EPAC/UAC (Educational Public School) in 2011. With this skill, I was admitted to an agricultural machinery manufacturing workshop to produce technical drawings and work within the group. In 2012, a local private institution accepted my request to become an administrative member (assistant general supervisor) and lead disciplinary monitoring and student supervision activities.
Thanks to my hard work and drive, I held the position of supervisor from 2017 to 2020, where I received a letter of congratulations for achieving the best BEPC and BAC results in the department. Throughout my professional development, the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of my colleagues (parents, students, teachers, and members of the administration) is very important to me so that we can produce the best results. This is how I discovered the practice of foot reflexology through a former practitioner who partially introduced me to it for a while. At the time, I didn’t know that foot reflexology was very beneficial for human well-being and health.
It was in 2020 that I was given the opportunity to begin this new career in reflexology. Given the benefits I’ve received, I decided to begin delving deeper into this practice, which is why I began training in reflexology and massage at a local training center. I also combine reflexology and coaching learners as a permanent work activity.
During these years of practicing reflexology, I’ve been fortunate to gain practical experience in the field, and above all, the results obtained with clients have given me confidence in the effectiveness of foot reflexology as a treatment for human well-being. My practice is simple: I crush the waste beneath the soles of the feet with a wooden stick, then I perform a hand massage from the foot to 10 cm above the knee, finishing with my client immersing themselves in warm water.
The beginning of anything is difficult, but the satisfying results obtained have become a source of strength and constant support for me as I progress in this therapeutic field.
Indeed, I use essential oils and shea butter for my clients as a working product. I do not mix traditional healing practices with my reflexology work, because reflexology is a practice of self-healing the body.
Most of my clients are people of all ages who need to prevent, relieve, or cure ailments and conditions.
The frequency of these conditions is often related to disorders of bodily systems such as (nervous, circulatory, joint, digestive, and problems related to bones and skeletons, immune, endocrine glands, and metabolism).
Over the years of practicing reflexology, I have realized
some promise in the face of my complete confidence in the practice, a consideration of my clients’ well-being needs, and the results of healing and satisfaction.
Furthermore, the physical achievements are not yet effective because the capacity of the means of realization is not yet available. I continue to work by appointment at my clients’ homes because the equipment and materials have not yet been purchased.
My plans for 2026 are to deepen my reflexology skills so that I can give the best of myself to help, support, and contribute to the well-being of human beings in a natural way.
I also hope to collaborate with massage therapists around the world for a genuine cooperation to help me build a well-equipped reflexology and massage center with the right equipment and accessories to better serve my clients.
